Seasonal Fruit & Yogurt Parfait Recipe

Yields: 6 servings | Total time: 10 minutes

Heaven in a jar for breakfast, snacks, dessert, …!

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tsp freshly grated orange peel
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries, strawberries, raspberries or seedless grapes
  • 1 tsp. sugar (preferably raw sugar; honey may also work) (optional)
  • ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

  • Scrape the orange along a grater
  • Combine the yogurt and orange peels; cover and chill
  • In a large bowl, combine all the remaining ingredients
  • To serve, spoon the fruit mixture into individual dessert dishes and top with the yogurt
  • Optional: Add crunchy and yummy toppings such as chopped almonds, walnuts or granola




Banana is THE snack to go for if you are trying to manage weight! It is very filling and it will inhibit the release of the hunger hormone!
